LTRW TUITION
ACADEMY

Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 18 February 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern tuition services provided by LTRW Tuition Academy (“LTRW”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
By enrolling a student in LTRW programmes, parents or guardians agree to the terms outlined below.
LTRW provides a structured, professional and high-expectation learning environment that develops confidence, academic discipline and deep subject understanding.
2. Tuition Provision
LTRW provides tuition through:
• One-to-one mentoring
• Small group academic sessions
• Structured cohort programmes
• Live online classes
• Digital learning courses and academic programmes
Sessions may take place in:
• Students’ homes
• Professional meeting rooms
• Library study rooms
• Community learning venues
• Other approved learning spaces
Online programmes may also be delivered through secure digital learning platforms.
All environments are selected to ensure calm, focused and academically purposeful learning.
3. Tutor Standards
LTRW tutors maintain high professional standards.
Tutors:
• Hold Enhanced DBS clearance
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge
• Maintain professional boundaries and safeguarding awareness
• Have relevant teaching or classroom experience
Tutors represent the professional standards of LTRW and are expected to uphold a respectful and disciplined learning environment.
4. Safeguarding
LTRW is committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of all students.
All sessions operate within safeguarding principles aligned with professional educational standards, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).
Professional boundaries are maintained at all times and any safeguarding concerns are handled appropriately.
5. Booking & Payment
Tuition is secured through structured block bookings, typically lasting 4–8 weeks, or through 12-week termly bookings.
• Block bookings must be paid in advance of the first session.
• Tuition places are confirmed once payment has been received.
• All fees paid to secure a block of learning — whether a 4-week, 8-week or 12-week (termly) programme — are strictly non-refundable.
This policy reflects the advance academic planning, tutor allocation and structured programme design required to deliver LTRW’s high-standard tuition.
To support academic continuity, the next block pre-booking fee is typically requested during week three of the current block (or week four where applicable).
Where the next block is not confirmed within this planning period, LTRW cannot guarantee continuation of the existing time slot or tutor allocation.
6. Attendance
Students are expected to attend all sessions punctually and consistently as part of the structured LTRW academic programme.
Where possible, parents should notify LTRW in advance if a student cannot attend a scheduled session.
Due to the academy’s structured lesson planning and tailored preparation, missed sessions may not always be recoverable or rescheduled.
To ensure effective academic planning and continuity, LTRW requires a minimum of four weeks’ notice for any scheduled family holidays or extended absences.
Where trips, retreats, residential programmes, school excursions, or other pre-arranged commitments are known in advance, parents are required to notify LTRW no later than two weeks prior to the affected session(s).
Where sufficient notice is provided, LTRW may, at its discretion, allow a maximum one-week extension to the scheduled completion period of a tuition block in order to accommodate the absence.
However, where notice is provided later than two weeks in advance, the existing tuition schedule and planned completion date will remain unchanged. No additional extensions, rescheduling, or compensatory adjustments will be made to accommodate late-notified date changes.
Where absence notification is provided within one week of the affected session(s), the tuition block will proceed under its original schedule and completion timeline, and no extension requests will be accepted.
Advance notice allows the academy to plan effectively, maintain programme continuity, and uphold the highest standard of academic preparation for every student.
7. Behaviour & Learning Standards
LTRW maintains a calm, focused academic environment.
Students are expected to demonstrate:
• Respect for tutors
• Respect for peers
• Active engagement in learning
Where behaviour repeatedly disrupts the learning environment, LTRW reserves the right to suspend or discontinue tuition.
8. Homework
Homework at LTRW Tuition Academy is strategically designed as an extension of learning, not as routine worksheet-based tasks.
All homework is created with skill development at its core, supporting each student’s academic ability through a carefully planned and individualised approach. Tasks are tailored to reinforce teaching, deepen understanding and build long-term academic independence.
LTRW does not assign generic or repetitive worksheet homework. Each task is purposeful, intentional and aligned with the student’s progression pathway.
Homework is designed to be completed within a focused and structured timeframe of approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the student’s stage and academic level.
Longer and more rigorous tasks may be set for students at secondary school level, where appropriate.
The time allocated to homework is not based on simplicity, but on strategic academic value.
Completion of homework reflects discipline, consistency and progress, and is therefore recognised and encouraged as an important part of each student’s development.
9. Academic Outcomes
LTRW aims to maximise student progress through structured teaching and personalised academic support.
However, as with all educational services, specific examination results or grades cannot be guaranteed.
10. Venues & Safety
Sessions may take place in approved professional learning environments including library meeting rooms, community learning spaces or private venues.
Tutors follow safety procedures and venue risk assessments to ensure suitable teaching environments.
Parents remain responsible for ensuring students arrive and depart safely.
11. Tutor Absence
If a tutor becomes unavailable due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, LTRW may:
• Provide a substitute tutor, or
• Reschedule the session where possible
Parents will be informed where changes occur.
12. Privacy
LTRW respects the privacy of students and families.
Student information is stored securely and used only for tuition administration and communication.
13. Policy Amendments
LTRW may update policies periodically as the academy develops.
Parents will be informed of any material changes.
14. Acceptance
By enrolling a student in LTRW Tuition Academy programmes, parents acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.
