What Makes the LTRW Transition Programme Different

The transition from primary to secondary school often presents students with new academic expectations, greater independence and a faster pace of learning. Many students benefit from structured support during this important stage.

The LTRW Transition Booster Programme focuses not only on strengthening academic knowledge but also on helping students develop the learning habits required for success in secondary school.

Students are supported in developing:

• Clear written expression and structured responses
• Confident mathematical reasoning and problem solving
• Organised study habits and independent learning skills
• Confidence adapting to the expectations of Year 7 learning

Lessons are delivered in small structured groups, allowing tutors to provide focused guidance while maintaining a disciplined and supportive learning environment.

Our aim is to ensure that students enter Year 7 feeling prepared, capable and confident in their ability to manage the academic challenges ahead.
